I don't know who needs to hear this yet if you go to a security conference where the only way to be cool is vandalism, breaking things, and activism (breaking things for good), you best be on that team. Else one of them is going to target you with a pedophile sting larger than life because you are rich. To be in the club you need to be in the business of breaking things and prepared to justify it.
