I had very high hopes still in 2018 - bought an external synology thinking I would have my family be able to chat privately. I am just re-imaging it today to an incident storage tool and it's sad. I have no family left after Lesley Carhart (and the person she covered for) attacked. She didn't need a place to chat in a russian app - I actually had this server set up at one point.
Everything sat there for so long listening to this man drug and coerce my sister and bully saying he was extorting me watching death after death from his actions.
