Handling a conversation if confronted with a perceived false accusation about an impersonation account.
I suggest not saying to people "you are stupid" and "blind". This is unhelpful.
I recommend instead:
My friend owns this account and is not impersonating you. I hear you have contacted the Fanshawe Police and they were not helpful in doing an account verification for the individual who created the account.
I have never quite figured out if this one is a copyright troll, or been part of a fraud scheme and did not know it. I do not have any way to find out. I suspect from the volume of chatter and cross platform social engineering effort, he was trolling or part of the fraud scheme. If not he was seriously being manipulated and may be a victim.
This application messenger on LinkedIn is designed for "anti-forensics" missing full date and time on each message. I have a note to make sure I have the best original image of date and time possible.
