In Edit: Glamour Circuit, Fruit L00p the Stalker, Fear Culture

The CIO at the job I was in in 2012 was in marketing. I think he was putting me on what we refer to as the "glamour circuit" of Infosec. This was never an aspiration of mine.

Basic infoshare, architecture, leadership for how to achieve things cheaper/better/faster was. Yet the glamour trail where you are competing with a guy with his weightlifting in disco pants and talking about crypto the next day, has never been my thing.

Some publisher made a mistake and the lawyers had a fit over a word chosen. Wasn't actually aware he was a publisher he was a stealth researcher.

 There were other issues.

They invited me to work with a coach. They were thinking all about the "glamour circuit". I was thinking about whether we could get Windows systems patched with the governance matters addressed such as "who owns active directory".

After listening to people fearing they would be fire, then some interesting fearful behaviors started to crop up in underlings, I decided this team was going to need a lot of work. I was not the CIO, I was the security "manager" wearing all hats.

I opted not to receive a coach as our objectives were not in alignment from a budget standpoint, and we were not working goals together. Everyone was fighting. Meetings were "tactical" at best. Not "together". There were big big hurdles and again, there was a lot of fear in the culture.

I do not understand why his fear to discuss fear culture is so very high. It's not an economic crisis for anyone. It could be improved. Yet they were already throwing people under the bus. Now I know they had even dug through my house in December of 2012 (I was shocked upon finding this out).

Then he retaliated.

So it seems FruitL00p has followed me since then. Instigating issues and fights, never being serious about what he wants to achieve. He has a gang. That gang is vicious, and as they operated they literally ensured a fatality.

Fear culture is not new, and it is only personal to the people who must endure it.

This video is a perfect example of fear culture.

1. It starts with one person everyone becomes fearful to go help

2) If the next step is the IT managers or workers start throwing each other under the bus about "who" will go into the court room to help him, the fear culture is maximized.

That is what I was facing at the time. Step 2. To resolve it requires teamwork. One looks in their environment and asks, is this team teaming? Or has the fear culture maximized?

Who works on change? The only person with learning and change in their title has not met with me for an entire year.

For some reason, in addition to this, FruitL00p has been running me around forcing me to defend myself for almost a decade, and caused a fatality in the process.
