So as social media abandonment increased LinkedIn decided to get more weird, and it's not working for them.
I have to say, the Greensheet and the New York Times on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee may have been more entertaining than most social media now.
The tendency is not to ask. They just try weirder and more intrusive things. Today, I saw an advertisement on Nextdoor I am pretty sure came from my operating system analytics. It was annoying. I do not use the operating system e-mail service, I use very little that comes with it, yet yes they are stalking.
As soon as I loaded in MITMProxy to take a look at it, they reduced the creep factor. Fortunate for them, I have a bad install conflict somewhere, and it will have to wait. It is truly disgusting how intrusive they are and this was MySA Media/news doing this as well.
